A Flatland Contest in Wittenberg...that sounded very interessting and Martin made a lot of advertising for
this contest in the internet. So I decided to move to Wittenberg and Tobi came with me. Unfortunatly without his
BMX because he sprain his foot. So we prepared everything for the contest an on saturday morning, we moved to Wittenberg.
After a short break at Berlin, we moved on with full expectation. After 2 hours, we arrived in the "Lutherstadt".
Because of the good description of the way, we found the hall.
So we checked the situation. Seppl, Stefan Dietrich, Sven Steinbach were allready riding. The ground looks smooth
and it rolled super good!
I took my Bike out of the car and the we started jamming. The best picture was, as the Eberswalder entered the hall. It was
like a long never ending flatland chain of 6 riders. At 6 o'clock pm the masterclass contest started. Every rider got 2 minutes.
Chris Böhm was the moderator an was very delighted about the word "Aufbau-Ost"..heheh..
After that, the pro riders were starting, but the got 3 minutes and 2 runs. To my mind, it was very well to split the
judging in difficulty, style and saftey of the tricks.
Fuhre started like a bomb. He showed very difficult tricks and won the contest well-deserved! In my opinion Dan Henning was a little
bit undervalued but today it is hard to judge the pro class. After the second run of the pro's, the presentation ceremony started.
Everyone congratulated eachother! It was very cool!! Afterwards, a best trick Contest was arranged which was won by Dan Henning.
It was a super good contest and we will take part next year for sure.
At night we decided to drive at home because we don't wanted to sleep in the hall. Sorry for that! So long… Ride on!
