After i made so good experiences last year with the Berlin City Games, there was no doubt on going to the City
Games this year! We ate breakfast and than we started to Berlin City. We found the old railway station at first try.
We were fascinated about the big hall and the atmosphere! So myself competed and I was in the first heat and the first
rider at the contest. Without training there wasn't so much to expect, but i didn't worry about it, because i couldn't ride
the last weeks, so it was o.k. and i placed 14th of 26 starters. After my run, we watched all the pros like Martti Kuoppa, Viki Gomez and Alex
Jumelin etc.! The level is amazing! Die amateurclass was won by Benjamin Grossjohann, who had a lot of luck, because
his prelims wasn't that good! Following the Pro Practice started and you could watch the newest tricks of all pros.
Viki Gomez won the contes, but it is very hard to judge because every pro-rider was breath-taking!
After the presentation ceremony we went at home with a full-filled Flatland mind! It was one of the best contest, with a
perfect surface and free catering for all the riders!
